A note from the foster carer

— Aoife, Antrim

MAR-2026-014

Found: Surrendered near Ballymena after her racing days ended, thin and wary of open doors.
In our care: Eleven weeks with our foster team. She now walks loose-lead and naps in sunbeams.
Looking for: A calm adult home with a secure garden. Fine with dogs; not suited to cats.

MAR-2025-089

Found: Left tied to a gate on the Crumlin road with a note that simply said 'sorry'.
In our care: Learned to trust men again with patience from our Saturday volunteers.
Looking for: An active home with walkers. Happiest as the only dog.

MAR-2026-003

Found: Came to us when her owner of eleven years moved into care.
In our care: Mild arthritis managed with daily supplements. Enjoys short ambles and long naps.
Looking for: A retired couple or quiet household. Ground-floor living preferred.
